Phillip Schofield has cast doubts about his future in TV following his comeback on Cast Away. Channel 5 is currently airing the series, which sees the former This Morning presenter spend 10 days in isolation on a remote island off Madagascar.

Last night’s final instalment of Cast Away saw Schofield strip and go skinny dipping after his tent caught fire when he tried to scare off a ‘big cat’ he thought he heard prowling near his camp on an island in Madagascar.

Phillip Schofield has returned to the small screen for what will either be the "first seeds of a television comeback" or the "incontrovertible death knell of his career", said Stuart Heritage in The Guardian. "Honestly, at this point it's hard to tell which way it's going to go."
