Roblox is adding more protections to its platform for its youngest users, a move that comes about a month after short-selling firm Hindenburg Research accused the videogame company of favoring growth over child safety.

In a Monday release, the Roblox Corporation said these new updates will improve safety for users and introduce new easy-to-use tools for parents and caregivers to better have control and clarity over their children’s activities on the platform.

Roblox, the immensely popular social media and gaming platform with nearly 90 million daily active users, has recently come under scrutiny for safety concerns.
