With the NBA season underway, people in the NBA Draft circle have begun pumping out mock drafts. The OKC Thunder have an abundance of draft picks in the 2025 NB

Forty-three teams in NBA history have started a season 7-0. Only one of them, the 2024-25 Oklahoma City Thunder, have won their first seven games all by double digits. The Thunder’s closest game — a 105-93 win over the Spurs on Oct. 30 — wasn’t at all close.

The 2024-25 Thunder are also the first team in franchise history since the 2011-12 OKC squad to start their season at 5-0. That roster — headlined by Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and James Harden — went to the NBA Finals and lost to the Miami Heat in five games.

It has been a dominant start for the Oklahoma City Thunder to begin the season. After an offseason full of trades, big signings, and draft picks, the organization received plenty of props. The hype machine was running rampant for the Thunder — still the youngest team in the NBA — and rightfully so.

After their dominant win against the Orlando Magic, the OKC Thunder continue to add to their extensive resume.

With multiple first round picks in the upcoming draft, Oklahoma City has the chance to add to its depth in the summer of 2025.

Improving their record to 3-0, OKC Thunder continued their dominant run, defeating the visiting Atlanta Hawks. Leading MVP candidate Shai Gilgeous Alexander put on a clinic at the Paycom Center, one assist shy of his career's 3rd triple-double.
