The sixth flight of SpaceX's Starship went off today without a second capture landing of the Super Heavy first stage, but it did have a dramatic daylight powered soft landing of the Starship second stage in the Indian Ocean.

SpaceX launched its sixth test of its massive Starship under clear skies late Tuesday from South Texas on a mission to evaluate critical upgrades from its last successful test flight, as the goal of another Super Heavy booster "catch and reuse" was scrapped due to unfavorable conditions.
