The Golden State Warriors are in a very interesting spot with 21-year-old forward Jonathan Kuminga. Reportedly unwilling to offer Kuminga a maximum contract extension, the Warriors have also been unwilling to include him in certain trades that may have landed Steph Curry a new co-star.

Steve Kerr recently noted that he could look to simplify how the Warriors approach things on both sides of the floor.

Looney is one of the most reliable back-up big men in the Western Conference. He plays hard-nosed defense, is a terror on the glass, and sets solid screens to create space for his teammates. He has consistently found ways to fit into Kerr's rotation while also making an impact and empowering those around him.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr, however, beamed optimism when asked about Wiggins' status, adding that he sees a "big year" from the former All-Star. "He looks physically really fit," Kerr said in the same report. "Just speaking with him, he sounds very motivated. He's very much at peace.

Steve Kerr was everywhere this summer, but returning to the formerly dynastic Warriors may paradoxically take him back out of the spotlight.
