Though Cher and Sonny Bono’s marriage lasted less than a decade, their musical hits endured. Yet Cher details in her new memoir that the success of her creative partnership with her late husband wasn’t equally shared.

Under a section titled "Author's Note," Cher wrote that the book, "Cher: The Memoir, Part One, " is based on her "sometimes imperfect" memory, and then mentioned her son Chaz Bono, whom she share d with her late ex-husband Sonny Bono.

Cher was financially deceived by her then-husband, Sonny Bono, the legendary singer reveals in the first volume of her memoir. “He took all my money,” the 78-year-old told The New York Times in an interview about the book, adding that she was not immediately aware of her financial situation and that she trusted Bono at the time.

Cher turned to a funny source when her marriage to Sonny Bono went south. The "Believe" singer, 78, revealed that she turned to comedienne Lucille Ball for relationship advice in her new book, Cher: The Memoir,

In her new book, “Cher: The Memoir, Part One,” Cher writes that she reached out to Lucille Ball, who had had similar problems in her marriage to her "I Love Lucy" co-star Desi Arnaz. “I called Lucille Ball to ask for her advice,” she writes.
