ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith is even worried 82-year-old Jerry Jones should even make it through the season himself. After another loss on Monday Night Football to the Houston Texans, 34-10, it felt like the sky was falling in Dallas — and it literally was at AT&T Stadium.

The roof is literally falling on the Dallas Cowboys. A piece of the AT&T Stadium roof fell onto the field prior to the Cowboys' Monday night showdown against the Houston Texans.  Specifically, a large piece of metal fell from the ceiling roughly two hours prior to kickoff as the retractable roof was opening.

Hours before kickoff, Dallas scrapped its plan to open the roof at AT&T Stadium after a piece of metal fell onto the field. The incident led to plenty of jokes on social media, with the Texans even hilariously shading the Cowboys for their infrastructure issues after the win.
