With a $100 price cut and no subscriptions, Amazfit's Helio Ring is starting to look like a better deal than Galaxy Ring

From the makers of the popular Amazfit T-Rex series of watches, the Amazfit Helio Ring has been reduced by $100, from $299.99 down to $199.99. This is its lowest price yet, and cheaper than either of the leading smart rings mentioned above.

Wearable brand Amazfit has just shaken up the smart ring market by significantly dropping the price of its Helio Ring and eliminating subscription fees for core features.

Samsung has just rolled out the first software update for its Galaxy Ring, which was initially unveiled in February and officially launched in July.
