Google employees met with the Department of Justice Antitrust Division last month to share workers’ perspectives ahead of the government’s expected proposal to break up the company. Their message? That as the DOJ attempts to end Google’s search monopoly, any effective remedy must make sure workers are protected and empowered to speak out.

The DOJ has plans for Chrome, the looming cultural juggernaut that is Minecraft and Sony finally clocks that the PlayStation Portal is missing a key feature.

Now, Alphabet, Google’s parent company, may be forced to sell Chrome. The browser, which was launched in 2008 and integrates with Google’s search engine, is used today by some 3.4 billion people worldwide.
