On Thursday at 5:33 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a coastal flood advisory valid for Friday between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. for Delaware and Philadelphia counties. The weather service states, "Up to one foot of inundation above ground level expected in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways."

An updated coastal flood advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Monday at 5:21 p.m. in effect until Tuesday at 3 p.m. for Atlantic and Cape May counties.
