MAIZE, Kan. (KAKE) - The Kansas Highway Patrol says a 34-year-old Wichita man has died following a crash involving semi northwest of Maize.

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – One person was killed in a crash early Monday northwest of Wichita. The collision involving a van and grain truck happened around 6 a.m. at 151st Street West and Kansas Highway 96. Traffic on K-96 has been reduced to one lane in each direction as crews work the crash.

The male, whose age was unknown, suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was transported to Northwestern Hospital where he was later pronounced dead, Chicago police said.

A driver was killed and two others were injured after a crash Saturday night in Stockton, police said. The crash happened around 10:28 p.m. Saturday at South Stanislaus Street and Martin Luther King Jr.
