A judge has rejected a request to throw out the conviction of a movie armorer in the fatal shooting of a cinematographer by Alec Baldwin on the set of the film “Rust."

Hannah Gutierrez-Reed was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in the deadly on-set shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins by actor and producer Alec Baldwin.

The armorer’s lawyers failed to convince the judge that the same evidence dispute that led her to toss the actor’s manslaughter charge had deprived their client of a fair trial.

The decision came Monday, over two months after the manslaughter charge against star and producer Alec Baldwin was dismissed.
