Organic whole and baby carrots have been recalled nationwide due to an E. coli outbreak that has killed at least one person, the FDA said.

Grimmway Farms recalled multiple sizes and brands of bagged organic whole carrots and baby carrots due to E. coli.

A number of stores that sold the carrots across the United States, including Puerto Rico, and Canada are impacted, including Walmart, Kroger, Albertsons, Publix, Food Lion, Target, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's and Canadian chains Loblaws and Compliments.
