The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting in Central City. According to investigators, a man was found shot and killed on Loyola Avenue just after 4 a.m. Tuesday. He was confirmed dead at the scene. No further information has been released.

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - An investigation is underway into a fatal shooting that occurred in Central City in the early hours of Tuesday (Nov. 19) morning, according to the NOPD. Police say the incident occurred around 4:10 a.m. in the 3200 block of Loyola Ave. It was there officers said they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
