The title is Korda's seventh LPGA victory this season, adding more ink to one of the most successful LPGA years in over a decade. This is the first time since Yani Tseng in 2011 that someone has won seven times in a year, and Korda is the first American to accomplish the feat since Hall of Famer Beth Daniel did so in 1990.

World number one Nelly Korda captured her seventh LPGA title of the season and 15th career crown on Sunday, firing a three-under par 67 to win the Annika tournament.

Korda, who started the final round at The Annika trailing Charley Hull, was 2 over on the day through 10 holes at Pelican Golf Club, two off the pace. She then birdied Nos. 11-15 to create a two-shot advantage with three holes to play.
