Rafael Nadal said he is unsure what role he will play at the Davis Cup this week, but he added he is at peace with his decision to retire from the sport and he said any emotion will be kept in check until after the Davis Cup finishes.

Then again, maybe they won’t both play Tuesday: Neither Nadal nor Spain's captain, David Ferrer, would say Monday whether the 22-time Grand Slam champion will participate. What is clear is that Nadal's career soon will be over. What will he miss the most?
