Midwestern nice at the veep debate
YOU BETCHA! Ohio Sen. JD Vance and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz held a debate full of substance and lacking in drama Tuesday. It was definitely Midwestern nice. They were polite, acknowledging each other with smiles and nods. They weren’t confrontational (for the most part). And their attacks were about policy, not personal.
