Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating a domestic violence situation where a man and a child died in Lawson, Missouri.

The suspect involved in the incident is dead, along with a child, authorities say. The incident stemmed from a domestic situation that escalated into a shooting and barricade, leaving one officer with minor injuries.
