RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil — President Joe Biden made "a good decision" in allowing Ukraine to use weapons manufactured by the U.S. to strike inside Russia, France's Emmanuel Macron said late Monday.

French President Emmanuel Macron on Monday hailed the United States' decision allowing Ukraine to fire US-supplied long-range missiles into Russia as it fights Moscow's invasion.

France says Paris remains open to allowing Ukraine to use French long-range missiles to strike military targets inside Russia, after the United States cleared Kyiv to use American missiles for the same purpose.
