Dozens of people, displaced civilians were inside building at time of attack, according to witnesses - Anadolu Ajansı

GAZA, November, 18, 2024 (WAFA) – At least 17 civilians were killed and others were injured on Monday when the Israeli occupation bombed a house in the Beit Lahia project, north of the Gaza Strip.

At least 17 people, including women and children, were killed when two Israeli missiles struck a house in the city of Beit Lahia, according to Palestinian reports on Monday. The Hamas-controlled civil defence force said the attack left the building destroyed.

Eyewitnesses described how an Israeli airstrike leveled a five-story residential building in Beit Lahia, killing at least 50 Palestinians.

Gaza At least 72 people were killed and dozens more wounded by an Israeli air strike on a residential building hosting displaced families in the city of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza on Sunday, local authorities said.

The Hamas-run Gaza government media office put the number of those killed at 72. The building housed members of at least six families, medics and residents said. There was no immediate comment from Israel.
